May be we may live longer but i think our 'life' will be truly short. Greying before we turn 30. Ailments that are meant to hit only in old age are hitting us even before we hit middle-age. Burn outs way before retirement.
Oh yes, we have no clue what lies in store for us. And when realization dawns, like it did for you, it's SCARY!!

A good read. Any common man would be able to relate with your experience. Yes, I've too wonder about the rate at which the pharmacies are coming up. They're more of a show off though.

Thinking about old age gives me goosepimples! I dunno how strong I'd be, if I'd be as active as my grandma, if I'd stammer or lose speech, etc.!

Good post Manik. Heavy-duty writing, i must say. Negligence towards health, sports, recreation( other than clubbing, pubbing, movies)
,heavy dependance on medicines, health-club facilities only accessible to the cream of the society, oldage issues .. u've touched upon quite a few stuff.
Talking about the increasing number of chemsists and our dependance on medicines, I always believed
